If an actor in CA...

...why not a rocker in NJ?

Here's weird thing.

Can you imagine serenading Senate hearings on cover-ups with "Born to Run?" I can hear it now, Sen. Springstee saying something like, "Wolf, I gotta tell ya, this is something that all 'Mercans 'spect from their gov'mint. So we gotta, we gotta, we gotta make it happen."

I like it. The Senate needs blood that's fresher than fresh. And with Ben Nighthorse Campbell close to retirement, the need is greater than ever. Maybe some day the great state of Michigan could send this man downtown.

I say, could you edit that previous post, replace the herf with href, and then delete this one? Oops.

Heh! Why not? I'm bored of lawyers running everything.

And I don't really know what I have against Warren Beatty other than he icks me out in his movies and seems so phony. Yes, I know they're all phony, but some are just oozing with it. Like Reagan. I never understood why peeps liked him. *shudder*

Or maybe I'm just reading it wrong. I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, Paula. I'm not a big fan of Beatty either, though his thoughtless self-absorbed creepiness was perfect in "Shampoo." As for Reagan, he was apparently a numbskull at times according to people like James Garner, who said something about that in an interview a few years back. Still, he also apparently studied politics extensively, and actually was curious about things. What a vast difference from the current resident of the presidential mansion. Geez, I never thought I'd be making comparisons favorable to Reagan. What a world.

"I haven't actually heard anyone on the Left seriously put forward Beatty's name as a candidate."

Well, it sure seems like everyone's talking about him as such.

Things that make you go hmmmmmm.....

This has GOT to be a joke, right? At least the part about Jon Bon Jovi being the back-up nominee. In fact, I think I was taking it seriously until I read that line in one of your links.

I said "replace the herf with href" and what that means is, well, never mind, thisis what I meant to point to. You know, alternatives and all.

Aha! That would be truly interesting. The Nuge is a complete whack job. HE would certainly liven things up.
